Cassandra Croft (occasional CBF member) and Kendall Sallay play Cassandra’s song, “Wait,” in the breakfast nook of her Seattle apartment in the middle of the night. 9/6/12.
Another happy day for us! We were just nominated by The Deli Magazine in San Francisco to become their next “Artist of the Month.”
This would be incredible exposure for us, on a very respectable, very large indie music blog.
Can you find it in your ♥ to support us again like you did last month for the Save Alternative radio poll? In case you hadn’t heard, we won that! Thanks to you!
-Locate the poll in the upper right corner of the home page.
-Click vote and show us some love. Done!
Vote as soon as you can—voting ends March 31st! Congrats to the other bands who are in the running, too.
Tumblrs, if you’re reading this, we need your help!
As a recap, we’re in the running to become a Save Alternative featured artist, but the poll is ending very soon and we need your vote for our track “Fairy Tale.” It takes literally one second to vote—no sign-ups or anything. Check out the other three bands too. They’re swell!
Written for Allison Barnes’ “We Are Women Project.”
Last night. We’ll officially play this one for the first time live, full-band, this Saturday at the Art Boutiki show. <3
Tumblrs! Stop tumbling for a sec and check this out!
Our song “Fairy Tale” is up for voting at savealternative.com. If we receive the most votes, we can be a S*ALT artist of the month and receive radio airplay at the coolest station in the Bay Area.
If you want to support us, go to www.savealternative.com/poll and check it out. If you fancy our track the best, cast your vote. We have no idea when the voting ends, so run quickly!
RSVP and turn the dial to 90.5 fm if you’re in the Bay Area, or get the livestream at ksjs.org. We’re on at 8 pm on Blacklight Findings!
San Luis people! Do it!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays to you lovely lovely lovely people who have supported us this year by coming to shows and listening to our music. We love you, really.
I also love my bandmates. So much, in fact, that I made them clay ornaments of their instruments! (Or they were supposed to be ornaments until I forgot to punch holes in them. Sorry Joel, Michael. Also sorry Max, if you’re reading this, because I got mad at your bass and broke it. It looked way worse in real life. I’m making you a new one…^_^)
Anyway, we’re looking forward to a new year writing new music for each other and for you. Stay warm! Eat lots of cookies!
If you’re into iTunes, our debut E.P. is now up for sale there.
If you prefer the real deal, go to the “Store” tab above and check out with Paypal for a physical copy. Much better, in our opinion!
RSVP to the facebook event for the December 11th show at The Abbey in Santa Cruz! We’re going to have some new songs for you, a surprise cover, and possibly a holiday song or two. Another chance to pick up our new “Tell All the Children E.P.” if you weren’t able to make it to the release show on the 18th!
